1
Brian's absence for these shows - until early May - was due to his being in Hawaii with
  Landy undergoing rehab.
2
Brian joined the band for this show. He was still living in Hawaii at the time.
3
Possibly Brian's first show after returning from Hawaii.
4
Immediately after this show they performed a private show on the White House lawn
  for Ronnie & Nancy.
5
  George Bush's 59th birthday party
6
Mike missed these gigs with a strep throat.
7
  This show was filmed.
8
By playing this show, The Beach Boys achieved the feat of performing in all 50 states, 21
years and 210 days after their very first live appearence.
9
James Watt was invited... but didn't show. :-)  May have been the 23rd.
10
Originally planned as shows with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, for some reason the
  DSO never showed.
11
At one of these shows, security guards failed to recognize them and charged them $4
  each for tickets !
12
This may well have been the last full show Dennis played while still 'officially' in the band.
13
Rescheduled from the 24th to enable the band to do a TV shoot.
14
The last show Dennis ever played - despite what has been written in the past, photos
show he played for most, if not all, of this show.
15
  A fund-raiser for ex-president Ford's Amway foundation.
16
Computer Dealers Convention - the last known shows before Dennis died.
17
In a 1985 interview, Bruce said "we finished it about three days before (Dennis) died", so
the date here, whilst not precise, is correct to within a day or so. The Beach Boys added
their vocals to the basic track, which was later sweetened.
